How can we help?

Search the answers below — most questions are solved in under a minute. If yours isn't, our support email is at the bottom of the page and a real person replies.

Member of the old Auto Classmate site?

Content from the old site wasn't migrated automatically. Tell us the email you used there and we'll search the archive for your old lesson plans.

Email us to request it

Signing in & your account

I can't sign in — what should I check first?
Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page to send yourself a reset link — that fixes the large majority of sign-in trouble. Check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, and make sure you're using the email address you signed up with (a school address and a personal address are different accounts). After several failed attempts in a row, sign-in pauses briefly for that account's protection — wait about fifteen minutes and try the reset link again. Go to sign-in · Reset password
I didn't get the password reset email.
Give it a few minutes, then check spam and any 'promotions' or 'updates' tabs. Only the most recent reset link works — if you requested several, use the newest email. School mail filters sometimes hold external mail; if you're on a district address, a personal address on file avoids that. Still nothing after fifteen minutes? Email us at the support address at the bottom of this page and we'll sort it out.
How do I change my email address or delete my account?
Both live inside the dashboard under Settings → Account. Deleting your account is permanent: it removes your lessons, units, resources, class profiles and reflections, and we confirm the request by email before anything is erased.

Billing & subscription

How do I change or cancel my plan?
In the dashboard, open Settings → Billing and choose Manage subscription — it opens a secure Stripe portal where you can switch between monthly and annual, update your card, download invoices, or cancel. Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Nothing you made is deleted.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
Every paid plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee. Cancel within 7 days of your first charge and the refund is issued automatically — no email needed, no questions asked. It's available once per account.
What happens to my lessons if I cancel?
They stay in your account with no time limit. Printing and file exports (PDF, Word, Google Docs, Slides, PowerPoint) are part of the paid plan, so export anything you want to keep before you cancel — or resubscribe any time and pick up exactly where you left off.
Where do I find receipts or invoices?
Settings → Billing → Manage subscription opens the Stripe portal, which lists every invoice with a download link — that's the fastest place to grab one for a reimbursement form.

Free tools

How many free generations do I get?
Each free tool gives you 3 generations per day in your browser, resetting daily — no account needed. Creating a free account raises the allowance and keeps it consistent across devices. Paid subscribers are never limited.
The free tool says I've hit the limit, but I haven't used it today.
The daily allowance is counted per browser, so a shared classroom computer shares one allowance — everyone who used that machine today counted against it. Signing in gives you your own allowance that follows you instead. The caps exist so the free tools can stay free.
Can I email myself a free tool result?
Yes — every free tool shows a "Get a copy in your inbox" box under the result. Enter your email and the result arrives in your inbox, so you can find it again from any device.

Generating, printing & exports

How do I print a lesson or save it as a PDF?
Open the item and click Print. A formatted print view opens with your browser's print dialog — choose "Save as PDF" as the destination to get a file instead of paper. This is also the fastest route to a PDF for sub plans and student handouts.
Which export formats are included?
On a paid plan: print / save as PDF, Word (.doc), rich copy for Google Docs, Markdown, and real slide exports — Google Slides and PowerPoint (.pptx) files for slide resources. Free accounts can generate and read everything, but printing and file exports are part of the paid plan.
A generation seems stuck or failed. What do I do?
Most generations finish in 30–60 seconds; at busy times a request can briefly queue, so give it a minute before assuming it failed. If it does fail, just run it again. If the same generation fails repeatedly, email us (address at the bottom of this page) with the tool you were using and roughly when it happened, and we'll look at the logs.
Can I change the Name / Date / Period heading on resources?
Yes. In the resource print bar, open the heading editor — you can rename each blank (up to six), turn any of them off, or remove the heading entirely. The layout picker in the same bar switches between compact, normal and spacious print densities.

Former members & old content

I was a member of the old Auto Classmate site. Where are my old lesson plans?
The new Auto Classmate is a rebuilt platform, and content from the old site was not migrated automatically. If you had lesson plans there that you'd like back, email us at the support address at the bottom of this page with the subject "Old content request", and include the email address you used on the old site — it's how we find your content. We'll search what we have archived and send you anything we can recover. We can't promise every item survived the move, but we'll check and tell you either way.
Will my old account still sign in here?
Memberships from the old site are carried over by email address. Your old password won't work — try signing in with the email you used on the old site, and a link to set a new password will be emailed to you. If sign-in doesn't recognize your email, your account may not have transferred; email us at the support address at the bottom of this page with the address you used and we'll look into it.
