By creating an account or using Auto Classmate, you agree to these terms. If you are using Auto Classmate on behalf of a school or district, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Auto Classmate provides AI-powered lesson planning tools for teachers. The service generates content based on your inputs using artificial intelligence. All generated content is a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting it for your classroom.
You own the lessons, resources, and other content you create with Auto Classmate. We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your content to train AI models. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.
Auto Classmate is built for teachers, not student records. The service is designed to work entirely without student personally identifiable information: class profiles ask only for aggregate information (counts, accommodation types, reading levels), and no feature asks for a student's name or records.
You agree not to enter, paste, or upload student personally identifiable information anywhere in the service. This includes student names or identifying details in any text field (class notes, reflections, chat messages, instructions), and documents that identify students — class rosters, IEPs or 504 plans, and graded or named student work. Auto Classmate is not intended to receive education records as defined by FERPA, and you must not use it to store or process them.
Submitting student personally identifiable information is a material breach of these terms. We may remove such content, and repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension. If you inadvertently submit student information, delete the item and contact us at info@autoclassmate.io so we can confirm complete cleanup, including any generation records created while the information was present. If your school or district requires a data processing agreement, contact us before use.
Our free tools are available without an account, limited to three generations per tool per day. Free tool outputs are not saved to any account — you are responsible for copying or downloading them (requests are processed and briefly retained server-side, and a result you choose to email to yourself is held at a private link for 30 days). Section 4 applies to the free tools too: do not enter student-identifying information. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tools at any time.
Teacher Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. You agree not to: use the service to generate harmful, discriminatory, or inappropriate content; attempt to reverse-engineer the AI prompts or models; abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent access controls; share your account credentials with others.
AI-generated content is provided "as is." While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using it in your classroom. Auto Classmate is not liable for any errors in AI-generated content.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
